This account deletion process applies to the TYB International Golf & Country Club mobile application, which provides golf club management services including tee time bookings, tournament registrations, membership management, round tracking, and payment processing.

The mobile app is available on iOS and Android platforms and provides members with access to club services, their golfing history, and account management features.

How to Delete Your Account

To delete your account from the TYB International Golf & Country Club mobile application, please follow these steps:

  1. Open the mobile app and log in to your account using your credentials.
  2. Navigate to Settings: Tap on the "Settings" icon or menu option, typically located in the app's main navigation or profile section.
  3. Access Account Settings: Within the Settings menu, select "Account" to view your account management options.
  4. Initiate Deletion: Scroll to find and tap the "Delete Account" option. This will open a confirmation modal.
  5. Confirm Deletion: Read the account deletion terms and conditions carefully in the modal dialog. If you understand the consequences and wish to proceed, tap "Accept" or "Confirm" to finalize the deletion request.

Important: Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once you confirm deletion, you will lose access to all your account data, booking history, and club services. Please ensure you have downloaded any information you wish to keep before proceeding.

What Data is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following information will be permanently removed from our systems:

Account Information

  • Your account profile (name, email address, phone number, postal address)
  • Account credentials and authentication tokens
  • Account preferences and settings
  • Profile photos and uploaded images

Membership & Golf Data

  • Golf handicap information and history
  • Membership details and tier information
  • Round history and scorecards
  • Tournament registrations and participation records
  • Tee time booking history
  • Golfing statistics and achievements

Communication & Preferences

  • Notification preferences
  • Marketing communication subscriptions
  • Saved preferences and customizations
  • App usage analytics linked to your account

Other Data

  • Emergency contact information
  • Device tokens for push notifications
  • Session data and login history
  • Any user-generated content you have created

What Data is Retained

For legal, regulatory, and business continuity purposes, certain data must be retained even after account deletion. The following information will be kept:

Transaction Records

All financial transaction records, including payment history, invoices, receipts, and billing information, will be retained for a period of 90 days after account deletion. This retention period is necessary for:

  • Financial auditing and compliance requirements
  • Dispute resolution and chargeback handling
  • Tax reporting and regulatory obligations
  • Fraud prevention and security purposes

After the 90-day retention period expires, transaction records will be permanently deleted or anonymized in accordance with our data retention policies and applicable laws.

Anonymized Data

We may retain anonymized, aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you personally. This data is used for:

Legal Requirements

Transaction Records

90 days from the date of account deletion. After this period, all transaction records will be permanently deleted or anonymized.

Account Data

Immediately upon account deletion confirmation. Your account information, profile data, and personal information are deleted right away.

Anonymized Data

Indefinitely, as this data cannot be used to identify you personally and is used for aggregate analytics and service improvement.

Legal Holds

As required by law. Data subject to legal holds or regulatory requirements will be retained until the legal obligation is satisfied.

How Long Deletion Takes

Account deletion is processed in stages to ensure data integrity and compliance:

Immediate Effects

Upon confirmation of account deletion:

  • Your account will be immediately deactivated and you will lose access to the app
  • All active sessions will be terminated
  • You will no longer receive notifications or communications
  • Your account will be marked for deletion in our systems

Data Removal Timeline

  • Account data: Deleted within 24-48 hoursof confirmation
  • Backup systems: Data removed from backups within 30 days
  • Transaction records: Retained for 90 days, then permanently deleted
  • Cache and logs: Cleared within 7-14 days

Note: While most data is deleted immediately, complete removal from all systems, including backups and logs, may take up to 30 days. Transaction records will be retained for the full 90-day period as specified.

Before You Delete

Before proceeding with account deletion, please consider:

  • Download or export any data you wish to keep (round history, scores, etc.)
  • Cancel any active bookings or tournament registrations
  • Resolve any pending payments or disputes
  • Save any important information from your account

After Deletion

Once your account is deleted, you will not be able to:

  • Access your account or any account-related services
  • View your golfing history or statistics
  • Make new bookings or register for tournaments
  • Recover any deleted data
  • Create a new account using the same email address for 30 days

Reactivation

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. If you wish to use our services again after deletion, you will need to create a new account and re-register for membership.
